Theme: Shaping the Future of Broadcasting: Sustainability, Innovation, and Collaborative Regulation in a Disrupted Media Landscape The Annual Broadcasters Conference (ABC) 2026 is the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe's flagship event, bringing together broadcasters, regulators, content creators, and industry stakeholders from across Zimbabwe and the wider region. ────────────────────────────────── DAY 1 — 17 June 2026 Theme: Adaptive Regulation and Sustainable Broadcasting in a Converged Digital Economy Focus areas include regulatory frameworks for digital convergence, spectrum management, financial sustainability of broadcasters, and compliance obligations in an evolving policy environment. Sessions will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and regulatory updates from BAZ leadership. ────────────────────────────────── DAY 2 — 18 June 2026 Theme: Content, Innovation & Investment Exploring local content production mandates, digital innovation, attracting private investment into the broadcasting sector, and harnessing emerging technologies for audience engagement. The day culminates in a gala dinner celebrating excellence in Zimbabwean broadcasting. ────────────────────────────────── Expected Attendance: 200–300 Delegates All licensed broadcasters and accredited media practitioners are encouraged to attend.
